  • Seems like there was plenty of time between the spill and the oil hitting the coast to have done more. And he's just now briefing the nation? Everyone could see this disaster coming. He should have briefed us before. If he is doing everything possible, than this is a PR disaster on his part.

  • i like Obama and I voted for him, but let's be honest, he hasn't shown the level of compassion and concern for the gulf coast that say, Bobby Jindal or James Carville have shown. He hasn't taken ownership of the gulf coast as if it belonged to him, which it does as President.
